How Neck lift Is Performed

Neck lift

Neck & Jawline Surgery

Neck lift

  • Midline tightening of platysma bands
  • Controlled removal of submental fat
  • Skin redraping through hidden post-auricular incisions
  • A more defined jawline and youthful neck contour

A neck lift surgically corrects age-related skin laxity, platysma banding, fat accumulation and loss of the jaw–neck angle. It is not fat removal alone — it repositions fat, muscle and skin together for a lasting contour.

Neck contour that treats muscle, fat and skin together

A neck lift corrects structural ageing — turkey-neck appearance, vertical banding and a blurred jawline. Liposuction removes fat only; in a patient with loose skin, fat removal alone can make sagging more obvious. In suitable cases the platysma is tightened, excess skin is removed and the jaw–neck angle is redefined.

  • 01Excess fat is removed through a small submental incision
  • 02Platysma muscles are tightened in the midline
  • 03Skin is redraped through hidden incisions behind the ear
