Mesotherapy delivers a pharmacologic cocktail at the epidermal–dermal interface by nappage or point injection. The classic target is not cross-linked filler volume but hydration, an antioxidant milieu and fibroblast stimulus. Face, neck, décolleté and scalp are separate indications. The evidence sits behind volume restoration or ptosis surgery; in the right patient it supports skin quality and hair. Sagging, deep folds and structural nasal deformity are not mesotherapy indications.

Intradermal micro-dosing — not hypodermal filling
The term comes historically from injections ‘into mesoderm’; on the modern face the target is usually papillary and reticular dermis (about 1–2 mm). Nappage is superficial, frequent, small aliquots; a point technique leaves a deeper papule. Cocktails often contain non-cross-linked HA, B vitamins, minerals, amino acids and nucleotides. Polynucleotides (PN/PDRN) sit in a separate biostimulator class. The mechanistic claim is local hydration, less oxidative stress and fibroblast ECM production. There is no randomised surgical-level evidence; the clinical expectation is glow, tactile quality and mild fine lines — not millimetres of ptosis lift.
